2018 TLX owners - how is the backup camera at night?
Can any 2018 TLX owners comment on the quality/usefulness of the backup camera at night, especially if you came from a 2015-2017 TLX? Seeing as it's the middle of the summer here and the dealership closes well before it gets dark, it's not something I can really check for myself. They said it's "great" but they also said that about the 2010 MDX and it's useless in the dark!
Thanks!

I've had no difficulty. Seems to work fine. It's certainly not useless. I'll try to take a pic after dark tonight to add to the thread.

Better then the 15-17 version. Mine has the surround view, so it shows different views of the front and rear, top down and sides too. Its hardly 4K quality, but it does the job. Grass is green now too lol.

iPhone 6+ pic in the dark, i.e. Not good quality. You'll have to make your own judgement. The cam works fine to me in real life.

Time to get schwifty...
So the "fuzziness" is the normal for the backup camera on these cars? I was about to take my car in to have the camera inspected because I thought something was wrong with it lol.

During the day, it is plenty adequate for the job. However, there is alot of noise in the rear view camera at night and appears to be common across all TLXs. My 2011 TSX camera didn't have a much of an issue in this aspect.
