2015 to 2018
Took advantage of the pull ahead program and returned my 2015 shawd tech and got a MSM 2018 4 cylinder tech. If anyone in socal wants a great deal. Hit up Nick in Acura of Thousand Oaks.

You downgraded from a V6 to an I4? Any reason why?

I have the MDX for power, however in Seattle and many other metro areas, traffic congestion sucks and you never get to use it. With the 2.4 and dct I have a blast zipping around town, much better and a lot of fun vs the V6 for my needs!

Kind of funny how some feel the 2.4 is a DOWN GRADE from the V6, is that because it doesn’t have as much power or that it costs less? I could have bought an A-Spec SH-AWD but I chose the 2.4 mainly for the transmission, saving some $$ and better mpgs is the icing on the cake! They are both great engines, but with the 2.4 and fun factor of the DCT was the better choice for me. I wouldn’t even consider V6 because of the ZF 9 spd. My uncle had a 2015 V6 TLX and it was a dog with that tranny, I understand it has improved some but after driving his 2015, It was no longer in my consideration set. The A-Spec has some nice touches though and I am very curious to see and drive the next gen RDX which we will probably replace our MDX with either the 2020 or 2022 after the mid model refresh if there are things we don’t like on the 2020.

Never had any issue with a vibration and the tranny is going strong at 24k+.
OT, the 2.4 does a good job of combining one of Honda’s best four cylinder motors with a sweet DCT auto. Enjoy the new ride.

Wouldn't it be more financially sensible to buy out (finance) the lease? At least you'd own the car after a few years vs. "renting" another one, and there wouldn't be a downgrade in terms of power/handling
