Updates/Projects/New Ish
I thought we should have a thread to show what we're currently doing on our car, projects in progress and the final outcome of any changes. Could be simple as changing lug nuts or plasti-dipping a grill, just any little modification we wish to share We`re all pretty good with knowing each other on AZINE so I figured it would be a nice idea.
I`ll start off by posting my rim change up, took off the KONIG`s you guys saw two weeks ago at the Sunday Coffee meet, and put on ENKEI RAIJIN.

Worked on the ass of my car the past couple days.
Also put on my A-Spec rims last week.
- Debadged
- Installed 15mm Ichiba V2 spacers on rear (courtesy of pnoyrice!)
- Installed 07/08 base tails
- Painted exhaust tips black, and muffler too.
- Painted Sharkfin Antenna and mounted
- Re-mounted rear A-Spec lip to sit higher

For the mufflers, I used Armor Coat BBQ Paint.
A lot of people on here go with BBQ paint for the exhaust tips, but damn I'm soo glad I went with the Semi-Gloss.

not much of a teaser, well the orange stickers are all the spots i need to fix, the front bumper is gona be completely re-sanded because of all the minor cracks but i would say by next weekend i should be good! and then i'll post a proper pic, and you will all see it at fitted!

Now that's what I'm talking about, looks good! See just start off with the small mods and then next year you can do the expensive mods when you pay off the car

Looking good es08tg! How long did that take you? Maybe you can help me do mine? you should have done the intake resonator delete when you had the front bumper off? But overall the headlights looks great!

Thanks man, it was like 8 hours haha but I was messing around with other stuff too. And I was actually going to do that delete, but I had absolutely no idea how to get to that bolt on the u-shaped tube that goes up into the engine bay but yup I'd be willing to help out for sure. It's a really easy job, just time consuming

@es08tg what would u say was the toughest part of that project? Seperating the housing or attaching it back together?I think i mite do mine today since the weather is shitty this weekend.

The sealing isn't hard at all, but again you need to bake it a good amount to get the best seal. With all the extra oem butyl and the new layer I added, I couldn't get all the tabs to click. I missed like 2 on each light but they're close. It's still perfectly sealed though, it rained crazy the very next day and I have zero internal fog/moisture/leaking. I'm sure ill eventually open them up again to redo do them. Overall pearl, it's a really easy job. Very straight forward, just very time consuming as well. It's worth it though!! I love my new lights haha and switchbacks are in transit!
