Toronto Radar Locations
It's a new idea for a thread, and I don't know whether it'll fly or not, but worth a try. Post up locations you know cops like to hang out in hiding, picking off speeders. I don't condone speeding at all, but I'd like to know where to be extra cautious. I'll start:
Viaduct Bridge(bridge connecting Bloor and Danforth that runs over DVP): Both directions
Eglinton Ave.: West of Hurontario, WB
Allen Rd.: Both directions, just about everywhere
Bathurst St.: South of Eglinton, SB
Mt. Pleasant Rd: North of Jarvis, before Elm, NB; South of St. Clair, SB
O'Connor: WB, past Don Mills/DVP

Lakeshore: Going east from the Boulevard Club to Ontario Place.
Lakeshore Off Ramp: Getting off the Gardiner to Lakeshore going east. They sit in the entrance to the first parking lot.
Gardiner Expressway: Going west from Spadina to South Kingsway. From 12-3am going both east and west.
Gardiner Expressway: Westbound Parklawn ramp. They sit right at the very end.
East Mall: Going south just before Dundas at Cloverdale Mall.
Dundas: Going east just before Scarlett.

just drive the speed limit in TO. too many pot holes to be driving fast. best place to speed is between 410 & renford going east bound on 401. cops never sit between these 2 points unless you have a fast moving cop from behind.

Bayview: NB south of Eglinton, they stand behind some brush at the entrance to Loblaws
Bayview: SB north of Lawrence, they occasionally set up a camera on the ramp onto Lawrence WB, near the French School
Bayview: SB south of DVP, north of Rosedale Valley Road, sometimes around Pottery Road.
Bayview really sucks as far as trap zones, doesn't it?
Rosedale Valley Road: Both directions, parking structure east of the stop sign.
Bathurst: SB/NB south of Eglinton, there's a bridge that they'll stand on, pull you over right in the middle of the street.

Eglinton just passed tretheway eastbound once you get up the hill by the Canadian Tire there's always 2-3 cops parked on the right hand side pulling people over for being in the carpool lane (8-10am and 4-6pm).
I don't live in T.Dot but has anyone have a Garmin GPS? You can load POI's (Points of Interest) and load the popular speed traps and red light cameras on the unit.
POI and many others avail here: http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/f...p?FORUM_ID=170
