tire pressure in colder weather

what do you guys keep your tire pressure at to accommodate the colder temps we'll be heading into? mine was usually about 220 kpa, which is quite a ways below the max...350? i forget what the manual said.

anyway, some mornings it dips below 200kpa and i get the low pressure warning. what do you keep it at?

Cold tire pressure should be constant year round. Nyou will obviously need to compensate for changes in ambient air temps as the seasons change.

I just filled up my tires today!

if you're not into figuring out the limit of your tires, fill up the tires according to the placard on the inside of your drivers door.

the ambient temps dipped down this morning, and my tires doent like anything above 37psi hot, nor does it like anything below 37psi hot.

this morning, I kept my cold air pressure at 34 fronts and 33 rears. as they heat up, they reach 37psi hot and is perfect!

I had to add a few PSI last week as it's been in the mid 40s in the AM recently.

I just put my winter tires back on and drove to the gas station to top the air up. They were all at 180 - 190 kpa. Very low. It rode soft but I topped them all up to 254 kpa hot. So im expecting 220 kpa in the morning, or 215.

Tires are 235 45 17 pirelli sottozero on factory type s rims
