So me and a couple other guys here on Azine have been trying to see who is in Ottawa. there are more people here then I expected, so we Have decided to Organize a meet nothing is in stone yet but we were thinking

Was able to get 75% of them together, figured you guys might like some of them: (This was last year or so in Toronto). I'll try to get the RL for the May weekend. If it's in town, then 100%, but getting it here is the issue!

There's three that linger in Orleans for 06 RL's, this is the only Aspec I see in Ottawa when it's here though :S

I'm also apart of NSX Owners Group of Ottawa (NOGO), (No I don't have an NSX yet)

Anyway, did you guys want me to extend the invite to them as well, see if we can nab and NSX or two that might be out by then? By the looks of it, April is usually when they start coming out?

I didnt know it was an a spec RL I never seen one of those in person, but bring what ever acura you feel like bringing

as far as the NSXs I think we would all love to have them there (secretly we all love to own one I think) but I personally would love to see them annd also post pictures to show up the Toronts guys LOL

BTW my availabilty has changed a little I started a new job selling cars at Unique Import Auto in Carleton Place so I am working every Saturday 9-6 so if everyone is ok with meeting on sunday I would like to do that

 

Looks like we are developing a good turn out. Invite anyone you want, NSXs would be awesome.

I also start a new job on monday. It will be evenings and weekends with the City of Ottawa. So on top of my lab tech job, masters degree and part time with the City, I will be pretty busy. I will post my avail when I get my new sched. Sundays will prob be best for me as well.

im putting my self out a bit but I think sunday is probably going to be best for everyone ??

 

Saturdays and Sundays are fine by me. The only thing is I have to work every second weekend so hopefully the meet falls on my weekend off or I find another job by then. A-Spec RL and NSX would be nice.


P.S. Would anyone have an idea as to why my post count stopped at 15 even though I've posted at least 30 - 40 time already. If you got the answer please pm me plz.

A few have replied back (there's more, but give it time). They are interested, but May 1st is pretty far away (Which we all understand here as in one month, things can change drastically)

I will be reminding them again in a couple of weeks as well near the date we have selected.

May 2nd it seems is better over there as well. Sunday probably is better as my clients I usually see on the 1st all day, and Sunday i don't do as much.

A meet like this sounds awesome. If your all still considering the may weekend, My vote is for May 2. I work for a dealership Saturday is my busiest day

 

I always go to the friday saturday show at the timmies on merivale, but their are rarley any 3G tsx's or tl's or even 2 g acuras. It sucks, so we should all go there on fridays and saturdays!

I may have seen you there last weekend. I stop by there every weekend to see whats new since its down the street. As far as the Hazeldeanmall cruise night I think it'll make a come back but I heard there was street racing problems there last year.

 

It's too soon to tell, but there's a chance I may be dropping out.... (This happens quite a lot, which you can ask CLUBEL and NOGO)


Just giving a heads up, I'll let you guys know more later. (My EL is also going through some serious work and whatnot, so that's also going to stop it from coming)

I went to every hazeldean show last year and there was never any street racing! but there were never any imports. Im may go too M&M this friday let me know when your going.

The hazeldean show is still on this year but the roads are not claen enough yet!

I think we have decided to have it on sunday cause I work at a dealer ship as well ( www.uniqueimportauto.com ) and work on saturday

 

Where is the m&m car show? The hazeldean mall one is good but needs to be invaded with imports, their are usually some there, but not many, and i havent ever heard of street racing. I thought they got rid of that car show as Don Cherry's is there now.

Dont worry about the organization. We planned for the May 2, at some point in the day down at Mooney's Bay (2960 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, ON). We dont have a "to do" list cause I am volunteering to help the guys "organize" this hang out and it is my first time dealing with this type of shindig. Please bare with us, cause we would love to see your car out there. I can however, keep you posted via PM as the date get closer. I am just super busy working for the city, doing product development for several large companies, writing a graduate thesis and piles other shit on the side.

Anyways, May 2nd works best for me because I work saturday. Where is the M&M meet on friday? I might try to make it out if you guys all head out too.

M&M is not a car show it is where "ricers" meet up on fridays

I call it M&M because its the tim hortons on Merival and Medowlands
