I agree on an Ottawa and Toronto meet.

There's only a few of us from here, that I can name off the top of my head.

Even though Ertefa got cancelled, Those people didn't ruin it for us, the whole point was to meet up with the Azine Crew

That is for sure Rob! It was great to see the guys again and some new faces, we should try and setup a cruise/meet soon. I think wasaga would be great, its not too far, plenty of places for picnic, lots of parking and a beach. Nice drive up airport road aswell

I was telling Thanh (GP16) that I've never been to Ottawa... and I was thinking of going.

I wouldn't mind Wasaga either. Also haven't been there before.

 

I actually drove up to Collingwood today via airport road and I wishi was driving the TL cuz that is an awesome drive! Smooth road, big sweeping turns and rolling hills. I figure it would be easier to get a cruise organized to wasaga than Ottawa because it's much closer. As much as I would like to go to Ottawa because I have never been im looking at my calender and I honestly cant see myself pulling it off anytime soon. Ottawa is probably a good 5hr drive bur thats not what I have a problem with,its thatI wouldnt want to spwnd 10hrs driving, I would want to stay overnight and atleast enjoy 1 full day and my weekends cant allow that for quite a while unfortunately. If some guys are willibg to go forward with it then by all means go for it im.just saying that I cant and im sure a few other guys cant either but we could do a nice cruise on a smaller scale while the weather is still nice.
Just my thoughts and putting them out there, any opinions or ideas?

 

A meet is all about meeting ppl with the same interest. I didn't know anyone before until I went to these meets.

A cruise would be nice. I'm down for that too.

How'd you like your visit?

Airport road is nice - lots of hills so you'll be riding your brakes a few times (or you could just not press on brake or the gas down the hill and go like 120 in an 80).

Lots of road kill and such of course, so just be careful lol

I don't know if I could make another drive back to Collingwood anytime soon as I was just there last week.
I'll be heading back there before school starts up again though, late august.

Sooooo I know i'm new to this Area.. Been Skeming these treads for a min. So I guess the Acura Vibe here is pretty low compare to the west coast huh? I see homie in Ottawa. I been to Ottawa was there for you guys first snow fall but I ain't see nothing for rides there. And why is it only Toronto and Ottawa here? Ain't no one from Montreal got Acura?. I ain't really a meet person myself. But I don't mind the once in a while. I'm coming from the Integra to the tl. so new car new area. I hope its life out here.

I don't know for sure but Montreal seems like a different scene....mainly because of the language barrier.

Montreal TLers are VERY FEW.
There used to be a small Azine community in Montreal who used to meet at Julep. But it died out... As a matter of fact, most 2G TLers seemed have died out too.

Montreal has it's own large-scale-meet. Like Ertefa... except it's called JDM Mondays.
Also, most Montreal folks will be over on MontrealRacing.
