Oem Bluetooth input needed

Hey guys I've owned my car for the past 2 years now and my Bluetooth from day one was dead.. Is it worth it to get it fixed if I can buy the module out of the states for 250 bucks? Is the OEM Bluetooth good quality to even consider this.. Really hoping for some good feedback...

Not sure how much you use your phone while driving,or laws in your area concerning it, but I love mine. I use it every single day, works great.

Well, on my car I wouldn't say it is as good as actually speaking on the phone itself, but is not horrible. I never have a problem hearing anyone, but on occasion I have to raise my voice for other people to hear me (depending on my cell service i guess?). My husband also has one in his Acura--I can hear him fine but can sometimes hear some road noise, not sure if it would necessarily be a plus to conduct long business calls on, but it does serve its purpose and suffice. I can tell you from speaking to relatives who also have factory bluetooth installed, Acura's seems to work better than Nissan's version. Anyone I speak with who uses their Nissan is always a horrible experience. They seem to drop calls often and are full of static, feedback and echo. Have never experienced that with Acura- both on the outgoing and incoming ends. .

When I talk to people using the HFL, they can't even tell I'm not using the handset.

Its great most of the time... My only issues lay with the voice recognition.
example:
call Dave.
- calling, mom
call Dave.
- calling, mom
call Dave
- do you want to call, Dave?
yes

or...
dial 1234567890
- 23380
dial 1..2..34567890
- 108489

like, really? My English isn't horrible or anything...

3/4 of the time it works fine though. I feel like my HFL just likes to troll me

I find that in my MDX the HFL is a lot better than in my wifes Mazda3.
Clear and as mentioned most people don't know you are on HF.
