Mid Muffler/Resonator Delete - Stage Three

Hey guys. This is directed manly to ppl in Toronto/GTA. I just did my mid muffler delete today. I am satisfied but dont think i want to stop there now. I want to goto the "stage 3" as folks call it so a mid muf delete and a dynomax resonator.

Can anyone tell me where they bought their dynomax resonator locally?!

If you have time on Thursday swing by Square 1 around 9:50-10pm to hear the sound close up so you can make an easy decision most of us will be there

Stage mods aren't my cup of tea.

There really isn't any rumble at idle.
Sounds exotic when you step on the gas, but then as soon as you let off it goes quiet.

Stage mods are a good start, but you'll probably want to add in Magnaflow mufflers later to get some rumble.

I actually did my exhaust work at D muffler Mechanix, hes on 2320 dixie rd.

They definitely know what theyre doing..but they are alittle over priced.

I got my mid muffler and resonator swapped there, I asked for the shorter dynomax 24215 he said he only had the longer one (24235) which he claims is more popular with tl owners. So he placed an order for me for the shorter dyno, he got it in 2 days. It cost me 160 for the part and the labor. 80 for the dyno and 80 for the labor, his work is def. high quality

That's the shop where I tell all the members who want to do a stage 3 exhaust, I requested the owner to stock up on the Dynomax 24235 Resonator just in case someone request a Stage 3 mod, $160 is cheap compared to you ordering the Resonator from the States for $80-$90 and having a shop charge $110-$120 to cut the stock resonator all the way to the mid muffler and weld the Dynomax Resonator with a new piping

does it effect gas mileage with a intake resonator, mid muffler delete plus a resonator delete with a dynomax resonator replacement?

Freeing up all the restrictions on the TL will give you better Gas Milage but it really depends on how the person will be driving the car, if you have a heavy foot then it will affect the gas Milage

I personally love the "stage" exhausts. Keeps everything stock looking and nice and quiet on the inside. I have the stage 2 myself and IMO its the perfect tone for TL. I had her pinned out this summer on the highway and everyone thought I had a full aftermarket set-up.
