looking at buying TL-S

Been thinking about buying a TL-S as a practical 4 door car for the house.

I'm currently driving a rsx-s. I sold the ap2 in hope of buying a 4 door.

Been looking at kijiji toronto for a tl type s was wondering if you guys could give some advice.

I see a company called autobase selling a bunch of off lease 08 tl type s for around the 20k mark.

http://autobase.carpages.ca/

They also post on kijiji. http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ343477715

What do you all think? Anything to look out for in the TL-S?

Thanks

for peace of mind go with the dealer, you pay a little bit more, but just in case.

Dealer does not give you peace of mind.

Do your research and have the car inspected by a trusted mechanic.

Hey man, I bought my car from AutoBase. The price ain't negotiable, esp if you're gonna get a 6MT since they're rare, otherwise you might be able to knock down a few but don't expect too much. My car was from MTL, carfax showed only a bumper cover was replaced. These guys get them all their lease vehicles from Honda Finance.

I found a great deal here but it's 6MT:

If you're going for a 5AT, you should be able to find it cheaper(surprisingly).

PM me if you want more info abt AutoBase.

I'd suggest not to go rush into buying one like I did haha...I fell in love with it right away(who wouldn't)..with the lease terms expiring, there should be quite a few TL-S out there.
