Some of you mentioned interest in purchasing the Type-S Lip kit at the Speedstar meet this past weekend. I have contacted AckTL05 to see if he can do anything for us if we buy all together.

I believe he got his kit from Tim from www.oemacuraparts.com
He lives just across the border, 10 mins from the bridge.
I picked up my A-spec kit and rims from him too.
This group buy would be cheaper though. Saves you the hassle of bringing it over just in case he doesn't have time to install it.

I would suggest not to deal with them, a couple friends went and he was very rude and the pieces are crap and WAY overpriced.

We arranged everything before hand =)

Order the kit to his address, meet up on a Sunday, install takes 2 hours, go shopping at Walden Galleria (bring wifey or gf?), then drive home.

It was really fun.

Shtewps did the exact same thing recently.

I suppose Tim has gotten faster at installing it too.

just for the painted Aspec side skirts from AckTL05 shipped to my door is like $310 duties and brokerage paid for, I hope that doing this group buy would be cheaper

 

He said we need to have at least 5 members to get any sort of discount.

I need OEM parts ordered (3rd and 4th gear Pressure switches, misc parts, etc)

I've dealt with Tim a few times and been over to his house before so I'll ask about what he can do for you guys.

I AM NOT trying to steal business away from AckTL05 in any way. He's a great guy and seller. If you guys just want the satisfaction of having the kit delivered straight to your house, do it and buy from AckTL05.

Just letting you guys know about Tim and he lives really close to the border AND he lives right by Walden Galleria (A HUGE mall), so you can go shopping with your wifey or girlfriend for good deals.

 

I got the whole kit for $715 shipped/brokerage from AckTL05 awhile back. Great guy to deal with and definitely the cheapest anywhere.

 

Just like ch1zo...$715 to my door back in March...many of you saw my fitment ay Speed Star, and liked my amateur abilities...I'll help anyone who needs it...

I agree the drive to Buffalo isn't bad but I am sure once we factor in gas and what not this could potential be cheaper

one full tank takes to buffalo and back, a dollar for toll going and a dollar back. At the canadian border when you reach back its 3.25

 

I usually don't think about the money I spend to get there lol

I just think about the stuff I get the chance to get down there that we don't have up here and their cheap prices for stuff like clothes and shoes lol
Of course if all you're looking to get is the A-Spec kit, then order it to your house, but if you need some more clothes or a new pair of sneaks or something for the wife or girlfriend, head down to the states to get your A-Spec kit.

Saving money on multiple things = ftw.

For me I just got back from Florida and Boston so the drive isn't worth it ...... unless we do a cruise to cheesecake factory after lol

Just PM him and say you're apart of the interest group buy in Canada. He'll ask you for the shipping info and billing info and he'll ship it straight to where you want it... probably your house.
