Going for G test, any tips?

Hey, guys, I'm taking my G test tomorrow in my Accord, at the Etobicoke location (Eglinton, near the airport). It's where I took my G2 test last year. I know for your G, it's all the stuff you did on your road test (parallel parking, 3-point turn, up- and down-hill parking, etc.). I'm kinda worried that I'll have issues though, because when it comes to most of this stuff, I've gotten into a "figure it out" kind of mode, instead of driving's school official directions It doesn't help that I missed half this stuff on my last road test.

Anybody have any tips? I'm more curious about the highway test. Do I just get on one entrance and exit at the next?

Highway part is really easy, you just get on the highway, they'll tell you to go a lane to the left, then a lane to the right, then get off the highway. Just make sure you're up to the speed limit before you merge into traffic. I found the G test way easier than the G2, it's longer and there's more stuff they're marking you on, so you have to screw up a lot to fail it lol.
A lot depends on your examiner too though, I completely screwed up my parallel park and he pretended he never saw it and let me do it again.

ya get up to speed on the highway. Signal first, check your mirror, check your blind spot then your mirror quickly again...then change lanes. Good luck!

So... showed up on the right date, right time, right location. Got the wrong month.

It's August 23 instead of July 23. Wow, I'm stupid.

Thanks for the tips though, guys

Another question: Are the onramp speed limits really relevant? Because getting on the DVP, ramp speed of 30 km/h, I realized that my car actually cannot get up to speed in the short distance of that merging lane.

As far as I know those signs are just suggested because they aren't actual white speed limit signs. Go 30 for as long as you can then just floor it to 100 when you know you can safely I guess
