I have been reading and searching older posts on DRL and fog lights, including DIY's, but I am more confused than when I started.

I am stuck because many of the forum posts are so dated (2008-2011) and I cannot follow along in terms of ordering similar parts/bulbs etc because of dead links, Ebay/Amazon/Vendor listings are now non-existent, parts are non-existent, and things don't exist in general... I went on vleds.com and ijdmtoy.com websites and I don't know wtf to get comparatively.

I want to change my crusty, stock base 08 dim yellow/beige lights into crisp white LED's. I don't know where to begin or what exactly to order.

Shot in the dark: Is there anyone local in Ontario that has done this and wouldn't mind babysitting me through the process and installing?

This is my first ever "mod" , thing's so basic I'm wondering if it even qualifies, yet already feeling like I am in way over my head

 

For the DRL:

You'll need 2 things: any 9005 LED bulb, and a harness.

All you need to find is a pair of "9005 LED".

So if you're on VLEDS this is where you look:

Personally I don't bother with either of those sites anymore.
This is the bulb I have for my DRL & fogs and they're insanely bright. Only downside is the wait time for shipping.

As for the harness, this is what you need to buy:

Acura Honda Lexus High Beam LED Daytime Running Lights Decoder Modules

Select option R3.

For the fogs:

You can either buy an HID kit or LEDs.
Your fog bulb is H8, so you can use the same link I provided above for your fogs (specify to seller your bulb sizes when ordering).
No harness, just remove old bulb and put in the new LED one.
