Why would you be embarrassed? Blackn'yellow Tl has only the front lip, SkLePro doesn't have the Aspec's, all of them are lowered ATLS_666, me and SkLePro are not, there is nothing wrong being stock, just come to the meets we are here to hang out, talk, ask questions and ideas on what to do to our cars

lol coilovers and aspec won't be coming until I pay the car off, so about a year or so, butttt I think I'm gonna clear my headlights tomorrow so I'll be modded enough to come out to the meets still

Not sure about local places to order but the H & R sports get alot of love around here for giving a mild drop.

Also You SHOULD also pair lowering springs with aftermarket shocks. Don't ask why, just trust me. Do it right the first time.

H & R Sports + Koni is my suggestion.

I have H&R 1.4/1.3 and didn't have to do anything else. Went for an alignment a week later (waited to let the springs settle first) and my wheels never went out of spec. So springs ($220ish) + install is what it will cost you to lower.

I was thinking bout all that, but then i remembered i'm on 19's with 35 series tires. If i lower suspension will naturally be stiffer, i dont want the added stiffness to increase the chances of denting my rims too much. What do you guys think?

Gotta pay to play bro. You could always down grade to 18s with a 40 series tire and lower as you wish.

I'm on 19's with 35 series tires lowered over 2 inches on K-Sport. Its pretty much as low as u can go with 19's and still drive it every day. The ride is firm but still comfortable and im on pretty firm setting (actually was thinking to make it fermer) ... that is why its a good idea to spend a little more money on coilovers and have the freedom of setting ur hight and firmness exactly where u like it.

As for the Aspec kit ... get it from Acktl05 just like others said. I got mine from him shipped to my door for $805 ... cant go wrong

If you hit something that could potentially bend a rim, I can't see how having softer suspension will change much if anything at all.

I'm also on 35/19 tires with Tein SS coilovers almost maxed out and set them pretty stiff. It's still comfortable, not as bad as it sounds. The lower ride height and better handling far outweighs the compromise of a bit more stiff of a ride.

Damn are you not afraid of those potholes?!? I turn into the Hulk everytime i hit a pothole on 35's and i'm on stock suspension.. I'm thinkin of the aspect oem suspension for type s, that way i can get a tad bit of lowering and improved handling and still maintain my extended warranty.

I heard mixed reviews for aspec suspension, what you guys think?

It does help a little bit. If you set your suspension to be softer, there will be less force compressing the tires when you hit the pothole. I used to run stiff suspension, but I was hearing the rim getting hit every time I hit a pothole (luckily it never dented). But ever since I softened the dampeners, the problem went away. Currently running on BC Racing Type BR coils, 19/35 tires, 2 degree camber.

I try to avoid all potholes, but you can't miss all of them.

I have 225/35/19 stretched on 19x8.5 and 245/35/19 on 19x10 and have not had any problems even though I have hit a few rail roads pretty hard.

Wasn't aware you had extended warranty. I would probably buy the A-spec suspension for the time being until warranty is up, unless it is close to expiry.

I had about 170,000km on my A-Spec TL before I switched over to coilovers. I found the A-spec suspension became uncomfortable over beaten roads as I reached higher mileage. It was less responsive, more harsh, kind of hard to explain.

Apparently aspec is like an inch drop max? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but you won't be able to get rid of all the fender gap

it really comes down to personal preference and budget ... all I can tell you is once I get my 19s I knew that I had to lower the car because it looked silly at stock height with 19 inch rims. so I decided to go with shocks and springs which later on I regret because I was not happy with it. so do yourself a favor and do it right the first time.
