I don’t see why you need a Type S rear unless u wanna get the Quad ATLP … I personally like the Base version better (especially on a Base TL) but if you do want Quads you can get the rear Type S A-Spec and retro fit it. You can get one for $290 shipped to your door from AckTL05(https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/spec-kit-group-buy-under-%24750-shipped-802311/)

just picked this up locally



atlp test pipe. guy was selling kijiji. I talked to him for about 30mins. He has an 04 6mt TL and knows a lot about cars. He currently lurks Acurazine but I told him to join and share his knowledge with the rest of us.

He is also selling a 20mm tl dynamic rear sway bar if anyone is interested.

This is going to make the whole system flow much better from front to end.

i saw that ad. i was interested in the rear swaybar but didnt know if it would make any different? but if someone can tell me otherwise i might take a chance with it

 

What do you drive now?

It will make a difference if you currently have a base tl.

I used to have a base tl and upgraded to the Progress rear sway which I believe is 22mm or 24mm lol and it made a huge difference.

Let me know if you want and I will ask him. He had someone with a tsx interested.

 

I drive an 2005 SSM TL base if you said it made a different i would keep that in mind thank you

TMAX upgraded too and it made a difference in turning and body roll

 

what would you recommend progress or the stock dynamic is good enough

 

progress is going to be the best but it is more expensive

you will def notice a difference from the dynamic bar. It is the same as the Type S bar.

 

I went with Progress because I picked up a good deal and was going to couple it with a TL-S FSB but that didnt quite workout the way I planned.

H&R appears to make the only plug and play FSB for the 3G TL which is priced very H&R-like.
You can use the TL-S FSB however you need TL-S Control Arms for a direct fitment.
