So I have spoken with Speedstar and we have come up with a date for the meet!!

Sunday, August 21, 2011 @ 1 PM
Hopefully this should be a good date for everyone as this should give everyone ample time to get their cars ready and cleaned up for the big day.

Its located two lights north of McCowan & Highway 7.
You take the right on Bullock Drive and after about 500m you will see the storefront on the right hand side.
If you are driving a lowered vehicle you will want to skip the first entrance and take the second one (20m after the first) and go around the back of the building towards the front.

I have spoken with SpeedStar about hosting a meet for the Toronto TL Community.
They were very receptive to my idea however they want me to get an estimate on the size of the turnout.

There have been issues in the past with TL representation at meets.
This is probably because there hasn't really been any sole TL meets setup and we are forced to piggyback on other clubs.
It's nice to meet other car enthusiasts but its different when everyone has the same car and share that common interest.

The solution as proposed above...an Acurazine TL Meet.
Date is TBD. Likely it will be a Saturday or Sunday in August.
I will be posting this the applicable forums but spread the word to any of your TL buddies so we can have an even bigger turnout.
A poll will be added so we can vote on possible dates once there is confirmed interest. (of course there will be)

1G/2G/3G/4G whatever you got show up and meet fellow owners.
Also note we welcome everyone from stock to modded TL's.

My good friend ch1zo of CTINPhotography will be in attendance so we will benefit from having his expertise to capture the meet from start to finish.


I am also thinking about hosting a primer meet this month so that everyone can meet up prior to the big meet and get to know each other.
Location is TBD but we are looking at a few places right now and I will post updates in this thread as more details become available.

So the first step is to get a headcount of who is interested in coming out to the SpeedStar Meet to be held in August.

So far so good...any "suggestions" on a weekly/bi-weekly meet for azine? I would refrain from Markham/Scarborough areas as of lately there is a lot of "HEAT" due to the Kennedy Commons. I was thinking what about Vaughan Mills area, not particularly the actual mall. Chime in!!

It will definitely be worthwhile as nothing of this caliber has been done before.

I agree there are enough of us TL owners out there that there is no reason we can't hold our meets!
All the other car clubs are reppin' their vehicles yet we seem to be lacking.

Count me in for any bi-weekly meets as well ch1zo.
I am cool with the Vaughn Mills area.

Vaughn Mills would be an excellent place...
Makes my trip down there a bit shorter =)

For those that I've talked to and didn't know, I live like 2 hours north of Toronto, in Collingwood (Blue Mountain Ski Resort).

Guys should come up in the winter for some skiing/snowboarding haha

We want to try to get as many people to come out as possible.
Vaughn Mills looks like where it will end up being held so it should work out just fine.

Way to go guys, keep the list growing, i know there are lots more TLs in the GTA. Lets bring em all together.

These meets are a great oppurtunity to get to know others with the same interest in cars and ask questions and learn a lot about our cars, especially if you are doing mods.
However all TLs are welcome, modded or non-modded!!!

i think AMC 30 is a great location for a meet, there are a few places to eat there and also Dave and Busters for food and games after the meet if anyone would be interested.
