If a girl is giving me an idea that she wants to date me, I'd wait a week or two before having sex. If we had sex on the first date, I wouldn't wanna date her again, which is what I think she wanted.
But judging by some of the answers here, it seems like some people would wanna have sex with anything with 2 legs and a vagina.
My formula:
1 date + sex = no respect for second date - wouldn't wanna see her again (this can me mutual)
3-4 dates + sex = more respect. I would rather date this type of girl. <------

), they can't see the logic in turning down sex with a pretty girl is basically what you're saying. Guys like this usually have a good looking friend who they have as a wing man. While the goodlooking guy takes the better girl, the ugly loser is left to distract the fat (or hideous) friend of the girl. He's happy to play this position because without his hot friend, he wouldn't even get sex with the ugly chick. The only reason the ugly chick has sex with him is because she thinks it can bring her closer to the hot friend (which is also delusional because he's already paired off with the better looking girl).
When I play that game, I don't play nice. I'll go distract the ugly chick while my buddy hits on the hot one. After a good while (when the hot girl is pretty much guaranteed to go on a date with my buddy), I'll spring the "news" on the ugly one when she tries to ask for a kiss or my number. "Sorry, my boyfriend wouldn't like that."

Sex on the first date is an indication that she probably doesn't want more than sex at all, contrary to what I said before. I thought about it.

No, I've never done it. What I'm saying is if it came down to it for whatever reason, I would only do it if I knew that there were no more expectations from either side i.e I wouldn't want to keep going on dates with her.
I doubt I would ever be up to that though, but you never know. The thing with my situation was, she wanted to see me again, and have sex on the first date. I don't think that would have been a good idea.
Just for the record, I would MUCH rather get to know a girl, go on a few dates with her and then do something instead of doing it on the first date and not see her again.

I will be the homo and agree with you. I wouldnt sleep with a girl i hardly know. I just have standards that way. Let me get to know them for a week at least then its fair game.
But i would also like to say if someone does have sex on the first date doesnt mean they are desperate. Most guys need to spread their seeds as much as they can, just a fact of animal behavior. I have friends that get laid every other day and still would have banged that chick on the first date. I wouldnt call them desperate, they just like to score as much as they can.

I'd just like to say, there is nothing disrespectful or desperate about just wanting sex.
Sometimes that's what people want, and it doesn't make a girl a whore or a slut, and it doesn't make a guy desperate or a manwhore either.
On the other side, if you are looking for a real relationship, it doesn't make you gay if you turn down sex with a woman. I've done it a few times. But I've also had sex on a first date a few times. And in every case there was no loss of respect or sign of desperation anywhere from either party.

I understand. I replied to your ? and stated that it doesn't neccessarely make you desperate. But if you say "I'd hit it every time on the first date" then I see something wrong with that.
Me, and this is how I feel, I would rather have a girl who respects herself more than to put out on the first date. If you feel like you need to have sex right away, that's totally up to you.
