Absolutely, I have spent countless hours trying to figure out what I like and don't like, but then I meet someone with a combination of things I hate and like and they have something I never thought about. I don't think it is something anyone will ever know, so just have fun and get to know as many people as possible. Somewhere we might find what we want...

my whole point was lying for no reason at all. when you are given the chance to be honest and you still lie. but you know the saying " WHAT IS DONE IN THE DARK WILL ALWAYS COME TO THE LIGHT" !!!

Maybe it doesn't have anything to do with anyone else...and maybe she doesn't want to hurt your feelings after seeing you try so hard. Even if she were telling you the truth..maybe you just can't except and you expect her to lie to you? whether she is or not? Some people only hear what they want and not what's really there!

but do you actually have a specific example of this lying? or are you just being stupid and generalizing. because sometimes people lie about things in relationships not becuase they are liars or truly want to decieve someone, but because they are embarassed about what they may have done in the past.
i don't know if you got cheated on or what, but if you really can't deal with it, just break up with her.
