Someone posted a stat in another thread that 67% of women cheat in their marriages. This seems crazy to me. First of all, 67% is high whether its for men or women. But I also would have guessed that it would be men who are the scumbags more so than women

 

I think it's easier for women to cheat, but I think men cheat more in general..

Not sure. I cheated on my then girlfriend now wife once in college and she caught me. I will never do it again.

Its actually a funny story for some other time...

I think he means that women are always getting hit on and can easily find sex with a stranger if they want it. Its not always that way for guys.

 

Interesting statistical question. According to comments in this thread, women are less likely to act on the impulse of sexual attraction than men. However, per sipark's comment above, women may have more opportunities to cheat then men.

 

Even with women having more opportunity ... that 67% figure i quoted seems impossible. Or i'm just very naive.

 

Just about any decent looking woman (basically, not disabled or morbidly obese) could find a guy who would have sex with her within 90 seconds.

Guys have to work to get laid.

 

Ok, so I was in college and I had been dating a girl (now my wife) for about a year. One night a friend (who is a girl, but is not attractive) brings a friend along (who is also not that attractive, but has big cans, which I like). We go out drinking with a group and I get smashed. So back at the dorms, all I can see are big boobs. Yada, Yada and we end up in bed together for the night. From what I remember we got to 2nd or 3rd, but not all the way.

So morning comes and there is a knock at my dorm door. It's my mother....She works in the town I went to college (Rutgers, New Brunswick). I had taken my phone off the hook the night before and my girlfriend (wife) had tried to call me all night. She ended up calling my mom who came to see if I was ok. She I answered in heart silk boxers with a girl in my bed.

I confessed to the whole thing. My wife still uses it against me

 

ohh ok that clears it up. I thought he meant that it was easier, as in easier emotionally for a woman to cheat, in which case I'm not sure I'd agree. Women do have a lot more opportunities though.

dam, 10 years later and shes still bring it up? Thats not cool. Not to take anything away from the asshole that you were, but I think its always a bad idea to bring up the past in fights, it only makes things worse.

She told me of an incident of her "kissing" her ex once. But I don't think it was a revenge thing. If so, I don't want to know.
