Valentine's Day

Or Singles Awareness (appreciation) Day..whatever floats your boat.

Anyway this girl and I have been getting gradually more serious, and I don't know if I should take her out for the big day or not...yeah I knoe its early yadda yadda...last night when making pillow talk, she did ask some heavy questions, not that I mind, I would like it if thise were to pregress into a relationship, and when I directed that into talk of the 14th, she said "its your call" she is not the type to get mad over petty stuff like this....so I don't have to, but I think maybe I should?

Also, if you think I should...what are some good ideas?

If you really like her, you should go through the effort of making food yourself, and renting a movie (maybe something you can both enjoy, don't make the movie a surprise. It would work better if she helps you pick it out). The making her food could be a surprise. And hopefully, she'll scoot over to you on the couch during the movie.

Take her out... you'll never know if she's the "right" girl for you until you go through the whole process... anyways, some good ideas would be to book a nice resturaunt tomorrow for that day because resturaunts tend to fill up on reservations for that day... sooo... you can do that... then take her for a cruise in your car ... some place nice where you can see the "stars" ... make sure you get her a "cute" present like a teddy bear or something... flowers are to played out... beleive me... last time i got my wife flowers (dateing at the time) she just stuffed them in a vase and put them in some random corner and forgot about them until my mother actually told her that they were dead... Anyways, go to create a friend or the Teady Bear maker store thing and have her make one... then take her to dinner... or vis-versa...

Scooting over is not a problem...we've already 'scooted' over to each other

things are good! I still say no to actually taking her somewhere. In today's world, time and effort spent mean more than money spent.

Even if you don't take her out, make her a nice romantic dinner at home. Do something nice for her. I know my gf appreciates it when I do things like that for her.

It's a great ploy for showing her your sensitive side, and it may be the best opportunity to get to know her more, if that is your agenda.

dude, they are ALL the petty type to get mad over this. I've made the mistake before of not doing anything for valentines, b-day's etc and there was hell to pay.

I'd day take her to Wagon Masters for dinner, then maybe go to Sugar House and get some coffee, then go for a walk in the park (with the coffee, cause it's freaking dold there)

Lived there (Holliday 900 E 4500 S) for about a year during 97-98. I was one of the a-holes working on I-15

I'd say to stay away from the Microbrewerys unless you really want it to be casual. Though I love me some Red Rock. Something more quiet would be preferred, but that might be tough on V-day. Good luck.

No date for me...she did not like the fact that I brought that up, I have that from a friend who knows her roomate well. Shit, I just hope that it wasn't too much that I even brought it up. She's the type to run when things get going too fast, etc. I thought that since we have been seeing each other since about mid September, that it was expected

I don't understand women.
