other then that, there is no trust between the two of you, you get along ok, but there are quarks and lots of unknowns..

I dunno...but, personally, I think there is more to life than to just hang around a person so you two can mate every so often and to get free drinks and entry into clubs.

If you have nothing meaningful to get from her, why are you wasting your life in this situation? And yes, perhaps I'm still not over my loss from Xmas but I think life is precious and not something to be wasted like this.

Not too sure what you mean. If you mean cutting the line and walking right in, that won't happen(atleast in NY). If you mean your arm around here while walking in thats another thing. If you mean not paying, that won't happen either.

Oh and all of that has the potential for disaster. She will flirt with a guy, and takes alot of money, then finds out shes your gf = bad news. He will be pissed and probably fight you and kick your ass because you will only be with "trophy girl" and he will be with 3-4 drunk friends. Seen it many times...even seen the girl get hit

Most lounges in NYC haven't had covers in the last 5 years (I'm sure some of the real big clubs still do but that's not my scene anymore), and having a hot girl on your arm always helps you walk past the line at the nicer places.

Who's getting in first? 3 dudes or 1 guy and a hot girl?

 

I wasn't talking about lounges though, talking about nightclubs. Of course lounges don't have covers, its just an upscale bar. 99% of nightclubs in NYC and LI have a cover(average $25 nyc, 10 li).

It depends, if 3 guys walk up with money in their hand they will get in, other if they dont, you are right, they won't or will have to wait. Over the summer I worked at a place in the hamptons, in order to get in, you need to be with 2 girls per guy. I can go on and on, there are to many variables, but it would be way off topic

I dunno man, I guess I'm dating myself but I go back to the late 90's in nyc with carbon, tunnel, exit and all those. At that time even the small lounges had $20 covers and wouldn't allow jeans, times have changed a lot since then lol. Having cute girls with you was always a plus when dealing with bouncers / doormen.

But I don't get why people are saying to move on. Obviously he doesn't think she's "the one", but there's no reason not to have some fun waiting for the one to come along.
