Thanks to everyone (yes, especially jimcol711).
I just dropped her off. PERMANENTLY.
I broke things off.
I noticed earlier today that I was becoming very defensive about the age issue. ANYTIME I get defensive with an issue, it gives me pause to reflect on WHY I'm becoming defensive. I guess that I've never really been comfortable about the age thing. Not the gap in ages, but her age.
Guys, don't get me wrong . . this is the first time that I've "dated" anyone that was more than 3 years younger than me (my "soon to be" ex-wife). Most of the women I've dated are my age or even older. Also, I haven't dated since 1995, and there's no history of "robbing the craddle."
This has been an interesting experience (it only lasted about 2 weeks), and one that I dont feel that I'll be repeating. I still plan to keep in touch with this person (I've known her for almost a year), but I can't continue with the way things were. I am an emotional person who cannot separate sex and the feelings that get generated.
You may all question my ethics, but I don't hide anything.
I have certainly learned something about those who responded.
What "skeletons" are you all hiding????? :P

Glad you feel better about changing the speed and type of relationship with her...OTOH...I am almost 40 and I quess as you reach this age women both very young (early 20's) and much older (early 60's) will openly approach you about all types of relationships. At this age I am very open and relaxed, so women of all ages find a man that they can find attractive in different ways...It's the best and worst of both worlds I quess.

DB, how'd you do it? Who made the first move? I tried to read the whole thread so if I missed it, my bad. I just turned 27 and still get HS girls trying to talk to me. I was 26 and she was 18, met her parents and everything... really cool experience.. I am glad I went through it... needless to say it did not last.... she still needed to experience alot of things in life that I already been through.. started to feel like a father figure.. so I backed away from the relationship..... I think i heard through the grapevine that she is now a stripper and makes really good money....
