I don't think "grow the hell up" should be a phrase used for someone joking around in a thread about guys trying desperately to have sex with older women. If you're going to delete posts and tell people not to joke around in this thread then it shouldn't exist in the first place. Granted that American Pie made the term popular, that should not be regarded as a sign that the thread is juvenile. The OP wrote about something that happened. I'm sure he expected a few comments that were sophomoric in humor, but the response should not be void in advice. It isnt about the mods perspective of humor, it is about what is tasteful and can apply rather than what is just blatantly trying to gather laughs without any beneficial purpose.
And you can look at the "customer base" as being weeded out. Those who have nothing constructive to say can stay in ramblings, and those who can give advice, whether semi-serious or on point can remain. I think the distinction is rather clear.

Anyway, you might as well close this thread. I am not talking to her anymore. A few phone calls went by and we never met up again. When she was available I wasn't and visa versa. We havent spoken in a while and I dont plan on calling her again, I am just going to leave it as is. If there are any further developments i'll fill you guys in.
