Just curious, with seeing how much some folks seem to fall in love so quickly I'm wondering how many of you have had sex on a first date. If not how long do you wait?

Normally, I wouldn't respect a gal if I had sex with her on the first date. Right or wrong, that's how I feel. I guess I subscribe to the stereotype that if a gal puts out too early, she is usually trying to fill an emptiness/void or lacks self-respect. So there's something amiss, usually of the emotional variety ... and my "damaged goods" radar would be screaming.

But it's all relative. For example, a friend of mine went on a first "official" date with a dude she had known and had been friendly with for quite some time. So yeah, they had sex after this "first" date but I didn't brand her with the stigma I usually reserve for low-self-esteemed, sleep-with-anything whores. Just kidding.

Eh... depends on the situation. If we just really hit it off and it feels right, she gets the sausage and she'll get another call.

But a lot of guys have a hard and fast rule against dating a girl they bang on the first date, so they either don't do it, or leave it as a 1 nite stand.

I agree with most ppl on here. Even though i have had sex on the first "date/meeting", if thats what you want to call it, I dont think i would if i was looking at the girl for a serious relationship. In my past i have only dated seriously one girl i have slept with on the first night. We dated for 8 months and then that was it.

It's happened to me, but it's def not the norm.

I like what was said earlier, that if you wait, it builds a bit of tension and it ends up being much better.
