In a rut
Surely there are good looking chicks going to college for their Mrs. degree, and they are usually looking for doctors. How does that not pan out?

LMAO Ravi. I call it dropping the "D-Bomb." It was cool the first couple years but by the time I was in residency when chicks asked what I did for living I would tell them I was a DJ. Mostly because I was sick of chicks zipping down their dresses and showing me their moles. Trust me, after 1 AM it's not that cool anymore.

girls just want to have fun.
true statement.
show one a good time, and she'll tell her friends.
as long as you're thinking like this.....you wont get the girls.
be positive, stay happy, have fun.
when you're having fun and loving life, people will be attracted to you.

Dude, there are people who are working and still can't find dates. Don't think like that. If girls are only going out with you because of your money, then they're not worth the time. If you want to get your dick wet, get a hooker, and you don't have to deal with her drama after her hours are up.

So I got a girls number that works at this restaurant I always go to by my house. Shes pretty effin hot too. Today has been a great day haha not just because of that but it helped
So how does one go about meeting someone they got their number from? Being a waiter previously, I've got numbers numerous times on receipts, but since I had a GF, I never used them. I could only imagine that this could end up terribly awkward and end up driving the girl away as phone conversations are generally much harder than in person. Actually, come to think of it, I have called a girl I got a number from, and it ended up terribly awkward and nothing came of it.
What would be good advice for the man in a rut?

3 days!?
I dunno, I think text is a fine way to start, because there's less pressure than there is in a phone conversation. Prolonged text conversations aren't good though, IMO.

grab your bawls and give her a cawl.
agreed on the prolonged text tho!
In 5 years all these dudes will be working dead end jobs while you are a dentist. Point is....sacrifice now for future gains.

So I would of called her yesterday but she was at work so I texted her, told her to let me know when she got off. Nothing happened. I called her today and she didnt pick up so I left a voicemail. 20 minutes later I get a private number calling me,

Some people just can't deal with stress. It happens in every job. I'd rather be a dentist than have a dead end job. For that matter I'd rather do anything than have a dead end job.
