OK, I made a big mistake and admit it, but I'm kind of nervous about something. I was at a friend's apartment party and met this really cute girl. The girl had been drinking and seemed to have no inhibitions. We started talking in the bedroom, away from the crowd and we wound up making out. Here's the problem, she's 16! I could have sworn the girl was 19 or so and it never occurred to me that I should ask her age. I found out when my boy tells me after the fact that this girl's in high school. I felt a lump in my throat and I just darted home. I've had no contact with the girl since then and all we did was kiss and as far as I know, statutory rape doesn't cover kissing. Could I get in some deep shit for this? I swear this girl did not look 16!

whatever you do, never ever open your mouth if you are confronted by anyone. Say nothing and lawyer up right away if anything comes of this. Alot of times, there is little evidence to pursue and with her being somewhat intoxicated, it will be your word versus hers.

Thanks and there was no chance of preggie unless there's a new way to conceive. I wasn't the one who got her drinks, that was all her. The timing wasn't right to take it further as people were just a knock away so I thought it would be a good warmup. Nothing more took place, absolutely nothing.

Actually, 16 is legal in most states, but I live in New York, where 17 is legal age.
