I hate to say it but if there was truly one thing first and foremost beyond anything else....that has to be it.

Maybe someday I will have to deal with a kid; excess drama; smoking, drug addiction etc. Who knows But i could never deal with a girl I don't find attractive.

Intelligence. I can take just about anything, except someone who is stupid and can't carry on an intelligent conversation.

 

Well, that means he wants his girl to alternate between pain-in-ass, submissive, and indifferent. Of course PMS cycles have more than three modes, but they could broadly be classified into those areas.

I once saw a girl during a 2 week span and I regret not having the balls I have now, back then. This girl would cancel our dates without ever calling me and I'd waste my night having had plans that were broken by her. I'd call her and she'd give me a lame excuse like "I have to babysit tonight". The worst part of it would be that she wouldn't call to tell me ahead of time, but rather wait for my call to diss me. She'd give me an alternate day and say "try Wednesday" and like an idiot, I'd call on Wednesday just to get another cancellation. When we finally went out, I confronted her on her inconsiderate behavior and she said "in my country (Colombia), the girls never call guys" and I told her that wasn't true as I knew many Colombian girls who had no problem calling me or other guys for that matter. I knew right then and there I had to drop her and my only regret was that I didn't do it sooner. I've kept my promise on not dealing with girls who are too proud and snobby to call guys as you may have read my recent threads about Solange. I've stuck to my guns since 1992 and I've never looked back. The girls I've had relationships with since then, however long or brief, have always been responsible enough to call on cancellations and call back when I left messages. To answer the thread question, the one thing would make it impossible for me to be with a girl is if she expects me to do all the calling. Communication is extremely important in a relationship and I won't enter into 1 if the girl thinks she's too good to call me.

I actually wouldn't mind if the girl has a kid as long as she's financially and emotionally stable which applies whether she has a kid or not. In other words, the woman shouldn't need me, she just wants me.
The reason I see it this way is that my mom was divorced and my bro was already a few years old when she met my dad. If my dad would have said "fuck this it's too much baggage" I wouldn't be here.

And Rodney... I actually dated a Wiccan. She was fun. Nothing wrong with Paganism in my opinion.

Well, my wife smoked like a chimney and had a kid from her first marriage and was married when we met. I found her stunning - just under 6'-0", great legs, natural blond, smart as a whip and wicked and somewhat bawdy sense of humor, in the bedroom and out. She stopped smoking (finally), her kid turns out to have been a great "surprise package" in my life - great kid, now a great young man. Age is not doing either her appearance or mine any great deal, but her brains and her wit live on.

Wit and brains survive everything, and if you're in it for the long haul..............
