Ok, so I know this is a website for people who love cars and I shouldnt be posting on here in the first place, BUT I have never found a forum where the people in it are as level-headed *is that one word or two? * and honest as the people on here. Im posting anyways! Sorry!

My problem is this. My wonderful boyfriend, who you all know, has gotten in the habit of calling me names such as "Whore, Cunt, Slut, and Bitch" when hes mad at me. At first it mad me mad. Then it started to upset me. I asked him again and again (nicely, I might add) NOT to call me those kinds of names, as I find them degrading and hurtful. He doesnt listen. Seeing as I work in a doctor's office as an assistant and NOT on the corner somewhere in Detroit, I dont think any of those names are very appropriate for me. Also, the only people I have been sexually are Damir and some 16 year old loser who basically forced himself on me in the back seat of a car when I was 14. Do I sound like a whore yet to any of you?

Im sure someone will say "You probably do something to provoke him into calling you those things" but sadly, I usually dont. Just today I was called a whore because he read something on here where I advised someone that it wasnt such a great idea to start a long distance relationship. My reasons should be obvious from this post and others concerning me why I wouldnt suggest to someone to start a long distance relationship. It doesnt mean that I dont want to stay in the one Im in now, its just that I dont think its easy.

I dont really know what to do. I think the things he says to me are so hurtful. I try to act like it doesnt bug me, but it does. I mean, who would want the person they love to call the degrading names? He says he does it to "Make me mad" or to get back at me for not answering my phone. It doest make me mad, it actually makes me cry. For the guys on here, would you ever call your woman a name like that? For no reason?!

Yes there's no need for that type of name calling. First of all me and my girl argue about once every 2 months and those words never get thrown around. Also the number one key to having a good relationship: getting along. If you can't get along and always argue then you need to find new people. And the fact that there's a lack of respect is icing on the cake.
