lying

So, you meet a girl... soon, you ask her out, things are going OK in the beginning... and she lied, let's say you find out. OK, it's not a big lie, but a lie none-the less...

OR, you're with someone, for a long time, and she lies. What do you do then?

At what point is a lie too big to continue the relationship? Or continue dating?

I wouldn't want to be with someone who lied to me at all, but I don't think that's realistic to ask out of a human being... so WHERE do you draw the line?

Is she lying to "protect" you? Is it about something that could alter your relationship...Or is it a little non-trivial lie about something simple?

my guess is she told u she was 17 and turned out to be 14

but like everyone else says... depends on what scale the lie was.

I wasn't lied to, well, that I know of at least.

But, I wanted to have a grasp on this subject so that I don't do something I might regret.

I guess it does depend on what the lie is... but like I asked, where do you draw the line? There are obvious moral justifications for a lot of lies, but what if those aren't conveyed? Or what if she's wrong, or she messed up? I don't know... I was just kind of trying to get input on the subject... I have nothing in particular to speak of.

if she said the cops DIDNT come looking for you after you did some shit thats mad illegal... and they did.... i personaly would be pissed as all hell... but usually lies that are kinda fucked up take the cake.. IE her saying one thing... but really doing something different a d covering up what she did.... if she's trying to hide something (unless its some cool ass gift) thats pretty wrong

i cant tell you where to draw the line, because it all depends on the significance of the lie, and your feelings about her
