Well I thought I would follow the recent tradition and post up a wedding thread. We are getting married on Oct 17th at 12 noon and leaving the next morning for Punta Cana. I will certainly try to make a post in the morning before I head up to the wedding.

Seriously I won't be posting even if I wanted to because our flight LEAVES the airport at 6:35AM

Not sure whats up with Punta Cana but its a nice up and coming spot that has excellent prices.

How are the wedding plans going?

 

Everything for the most part is done. We have some last minute decoration things to pick up (pumpkins/mums) and I need to pick up a present for the lady. Other than that we are good

 

People are dropping like flies.

All I have to say is its an outdoor wedding and the forcast is showing rain for the whole weekend - FML

If that doesn't work, at least buy a few cases of disposable ponchos.

Are you having it at a venue or just on a piece of property? If it's the outdoor section of a venue, do they have an indoor option? I know our venue offered both. We chose indoors regardless, but we had the choice to use either for our day. Might take the stress of to just move it inside so you don't have to watch the weather til the last minute.

 

Yes we have full facility for the day.. Indoor and Outdoor. Plan B is not a problem but it just kills my fiancee's dreams of a fall wedding and our pictures won't be what we wanted

Finally back from the honeymoon!

Didn't get to post before the wedding, too much stuff to do that morning. Wedding had to happen inside and it was still great just not what the wife wanted. Pictures were not great because guests kept bothering us and we were rushed to move out so the food could be served.

Honeymoon was in Punta Cana and it was a beautiful resort and the beach was great with lots of . We both got sick from the food and I am still not feeling well. They actually had a wendys in the punta cana airport when we were leaving and when we saw that sign we almost cried. It was the first edible mean we had in a week.

 

Sounds like you still had tons of fun!

So how do you like it now that things have settled down to normal?

 

We lived together for 1.5yrs before the wedding so things are exactly the same as before I just wear a ring now
