Jealous wife.....

Jealous wife.....
So I went with my wife, siblings and parents to a family friends house on LI this past sunday. They have a nice house on the water, with an in ground pool, jacuzzi, wave runners and a speed boat....This friend has a son that's 16 and 2 daughters, one that's 19 and one that's 21. The 21 y/o is , and the 19 y.o is . Don't ask for pics, that would be impossible for me to do w/o people getting curious as to what I was up to. Anyways, they asked me if I wanted to play beer pong with them. I didn't really know what it was (I must really be getting old), but they explained it to me, and I agreed to play. I ended up on the 19 y/o's team. Considering the hottie status and the attention I was getting, it made the wife a bit jealous. The sisters also had some of their friends over, so it was like 5 girls, and me. She was upset that I didn't ask her to play, but she doesn't drink beer, that's why I didn't ask. Did I do something wrong?

Depends, I guess you had to be there and since you've started thsi thread I'm sure she was jealous.
You didn't mention anything about bikini's earlier. I guess I can see how she would become jealous by you playing drinking games with barely dressed hot teens
Still can't believe you didn't take pics

Yup you did something wrong. Hanging around hot chicks who pay you attention is always your fault sir.
Have run into this a number of times. Luckily my wife still hasn't realized that her younger sisters are smoking hot so there is no problem in my hanging out with them and oggling them (hey they aren't related by blood).

Seriously, take the situation and reverse it. She is there playing beer pong drinking beer w/ 5 in shape guys w/ no shirts on. They are laughing and having a good time. Think you'd be jealous?

She didn't bring a bathing suit because she doesn't like to swim (or to be in the water), so that counts out the pool and jacuzzi. She'll do a jacuzzi if she had the suit on, but she didn't. She definately won't go on a wave runner, she's got a fear of falling off, also because she's so close to the water. No matter how hard I tried to get her on one, I was never successful. I went on a canoe with her once, in 4 feet of water, she was shitting bricks. She prepared herself by bringing a book and basking in the hot summer sun. We did end off the day with a nice run in the speed boat, which she was with me (the other girls weren't with us, just my parents, their friend, who was the father, and my brother). She was quite happy at this point.

yah, you have point...probably just a random bite of the green-eyed monster...nothing to get worked up over if you did just say to her "I didn't ask you to play cause you don't drink beer and thought you wanted to read. It would be cool if you did want to play "
maybe she was just having a bad day or felt cranky....

OK, you have your assignment.

Well, I did actually tell her that I didn't ask her to play because I knew she hates beer, her response was "So you could have drank my cups when I had to"...This is coming from someone who hates when I drink beer because of the breath...Oh well..But she really isn't difficult, she just isn't as actively spontaneous as I am. She will go in a pool as long as it's not deep, she just didn't want to go in around other people. When we are on vacation, she lets loose a little more, I guess she doesn't want to give anyone she knows any impressions of her..

Sounds like you've got a phobia in a jar of a wife. Let her know that if she doesn't want to do stuff that you want to, it's not your fault. You can't always be the one asking her if she wants to do something. She has to just join in and invite herself to activities.
Of course with the exception of when you are hanging out with the guys or watching sports.
There's nothing worse than a girl who:
1) Doesn't know anything asking questions about the sport (esp. football) while I'm watching.
2) Thinks she knows everything about the sport (but doesn't) (esp. football) while I'm watching.

So she doesn't want to participate in any of the activities, she doesn't want anyone to "get impressions" of her (which I assume means that she doesn't want her family to think she's anything other than a perfect angel, which is understandable in light of family pressures and the orthodox lifestyle your family lives), so she actively excludes herself from the crowd, only to be upset at you when you don't, as well? That's not very fair.
But then again, I agree with Ric... blush a little, tell her you're flattered, give her a big hug and tell her that you're not interested in children when you have a woman at home, and leave it at that.

Yah actually SOME of his friends were capable of making polite conversation...
BUT
the others were just dicks....like i'm sitting there, never met them before, say hi, ask them about school work blah blah...get one word answers..then the whole group starts talking about way back in the day when they were 12 or 16 or whatever....everybody's exes...things i know nothing about..so when that would happen i would would just invite someone to play pool and get up from the table for awhile..I didn't sit there with a scowl on my face all nite..
And for your information i never wanted to go out with his friends...he would throw a hissy fit when i would want to do something on my own or with my friends..
