The couple differenet white girls I've had dates with where loony! Even ones I didn't end up going out with (but had considered) ended up being nuts! The last girl I did anything with was from Columbia..and she was sane go figure

Yes, I dated outside my ethnic group (I'm Filipino and my husband is Caucasian). I don't think my parents really cared about the race. My mom was more concerned about religion. So although my husband was raised as a Protestant, the fact that he was a baptized Catholic was enough to pacify my mom. Go figure...

Let's see... my mom is Filipino and my father is German/Russian. I was raised Jewish. I don't think I've ever dated my exact mix/religion so I went with yes.

I've been with all colors under the sun. People are people, I don't judge a race. I judge an individual. My girlfriend now (yes if you know my past I went through a lot of experiences since my break up thread so I finally settled down again) is Japanese and white. That mix has been the one that tends to stick for me (my ex was Jap/white as well) so we all have our preferences.

I'm white. I dated a black girl in high school, dated a Koren girl in college and dated a Middle Eastern girl in my mid-20's.

My parents were not happy at all when I told them I was dating a black girl in high school. I was told not to bring her by the house and all the sudden they tried to impose a curfew on me after never having one before. I always expressed how much I hated racism even as young as 10 years old when my mom made a comment about all the black kids at the local lake, so needless to say I didn't stop dating her because of their views. Her parents were bi-racial (black mother and white step-father) so of course they were fine with things. Actually one of the funniest things that ever happened to me was when I went over her house for the first time. I knock on the door and her step-father answers. She didn't tell me he was white. He looks at me and I say is Nicole here? He says oh you have the wrong house, the black family lives next door. In shock I just stare and say sorry. He busts out laughing and then invites me in. Kind of like the scene from "Something About Mary".

The Korean girl I dated was half-Korean, half-white, so obviously her family was cool with us dating. Unfortunately we were just different personality-wise, but the physical connection was definitely there. Oh boy, was it ever there lol.

The Middle-Eastern girl I dated in my 20's was the complete opposite. My family was surprising okay with it, but her family was not having it. They basically told her what I was told in high school (she was 24 and still living at home, so they could tell her what to do I guess lol). I was not allowed to come to their house or call their house. We basically dated undercover and in one instance had to run out of a mall because her mom happened to be at the same store we were at. It was crazy. It wasn't just about race either, we were different religions, so you can imagine the conversations we'd have about our "future" together. It always ended in a fight or us just saying whatever, we'll deal with it when the time comes. It never came. I broke up with her after 2 years together because she never matured and I was ready for the next step in my life.

The funniest thing out of all the different races and personalities of the girls I dated is that I ended up marrying a white girl from Kentucky lol! Granted we have very different backgrounds (she was raised in the country, me from the city), it's funny that I always imagined myself marrying someone so different than myself, looks-wise and personality-wise, but I end up with someone that looks like me and we have similar personalities. I guess you just never know who you'll end up with.

I'm white/Italian and I've only dated white girls because that's all I go to school with. We have very few other races at the school I attend. I am certainly not opposed to dating a girl outside my race and I don't think my parents would care one way or another.

 

i see no problem dating someone from a different race. it's fun to learn about other cultures and just the difference in everything from mannerisms to food. i've dated mostly outside my own race.

i don't have issues with inter-racial dating.

i think there is absolutely no problem with dating someone of a different race.
i am white and have dated mostly mexicans and 2 white guys. as long as i am attracted to them and we get along well then i could care less what race they are. plus mixed kids are usually the cutest
