im the last of my guy friends without a date. but as in the past 2 years, im not looking for one. it doesnt bother me, never has. so this chick asks one of my "friends" about who doesnt have a date. he said he'd "talk to me" which he did, but i will most definitly not ask her. i have no problem going stag as long as i party afterwards but this chick for some reason connected my not having a date with me looking for a date. not the same thing. so she's all depressed and telling people to influence me her way. A) she's annoying as shit B) she's dumb as bricks and C) she's fugly. besides h/c is this saturday, if i were gonna ask someone i'da done it by now. im just hella pissed that she's talking to other girls i know telling them to try to influence me. in the end i look like the bad guy for putting her down, its as close to a girl asking a guy as you can get. the chicks argue that "having a date is part of the high school experience" which IMO is wrong, nights i wont remember with friends i'll never forget is the high school experience.

just tell me im doing the right thing. i dont want to sacrafice my time and energy just for this chick's insecurity. plus ive never talked to this girl, she's not at all a friend of mine.

i wont lie just to make this chick feel good while making myself feel bad. she's just immature and selfish....and annoying.......and dumb.....and you get the idea.

im just lookin to have a good time afterwards, the dance usually sucks anyways and the school's gonna have po's there "assisting in parking", ie, on the look out for alcohol, a chick almost died at last year's.

memories from my junior prom are coming back! whatever you do, DON'T FUCKING GO. I had the same situation with my junior prom, but I wasn't even gonna go (dances suck, ALL of them). So she asks me, and I try to think of a way to say no nicely.....eventually, before I got a chance to, the kind people at the top of the prom committee bought me and her a ticket, and I started feeling bad, and just said fine I'll go. BAD MOVE. Most awkward night of my life. And then, in an evil twist, I was elected to prom court....REALLY embarrasing. Fortunately, she wasn't, so I got to dance with a hottie.....that was the best part. SO, DO NOT FUCKING GO, IT WAS HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, go to me'hico if ya have to.

we had our homecoming about 3 weeks ago. went to eat at some fancy restaraunt with our dates\girlfriends then headed over to the actual dance.. got there about an hour before it ended.. left 30min after we arrived. went to some partys had some fun and then got a hotel and had some more fun

More people than expected ALWAYS find out. Highschool kids are like a pirrahnas - if one gets wind of something good, they all find out about it and just invite themselves.

I didn't even go to my homecomings. I always told myself "i don't want to deal with blah blah blah" but in reality i was too much of a pussy to ask a girl that i wanted.

The only thing i semi-regret is not finding a prom date my senior year. But that's really only because it would have been phat to pull up in my CL-S, and then bang whatever girl i ended up with in the car after the dance.

I ended up just going out and partying at the after-events. Didn't get laid, but had fun and spent alot less money than those who went to prom.
