Instead of numbers I am planning to have names of sci-fi ships as table ID. So far I have the Enterprise, Voyager, Defiant, Yamato, Galactica,and Nostromo. I am sure that I'll think of more but if you can think of MAJOR sci-fi ship names that would be cool. Not types of ships (X-wing, etc)...proper names for ships.

 

Oh, and Reliant. Since I drove one when ST2 came out I have to have that.

Chappy...I thought that you were at one of MA Fudds meets? You should know I am not 16. :P So-kay. Tables for a wedding is what I was asking about! When I showed my fiance' the thread she said.."you never said it was for a wedding". Evidently she was right. It only took a week for people to figure that out. Sorry guys (girls)!!! My fault.

Let me explain...as is evident from my previous posts, I am looking for table names. For those of you that are wondering why, it is because BlackmagiCL_S is getting married in June (the horror the horror). Instead of table 1, 2, 3,etc...we want to have each table be a name. In our case since we are sci-fi, science geeks, we wanted to have sci-fi ship names. Simple but WAY geeky. I know. We are looking at 12 tables so I have to ask for your help to come up with names that I didn't think of.

Sorry for the confusion. That is WTF.

S.S. Discovery - 2001: A Space Odyssey
Prometheus - Experimental Star Fleet ship. Name sounds cool.
Event Horizon - from the movie of the same name.
Jupiter 1/2 - Lost in Space
NSEA Protector - Galaxy Quest

I would have a model of each ship in the center of the table with the table gifts around it.

 

Discovery and Event Horizon are on the list now...thanks! I suppose that the silliness will continue with who at the table knows that most movies that the "table" ships are in and they get the centerpiece. Although that means we need to have nice centerpieces. :P

Yeah...my girl has planned EVERYTHING. Stuff like this is fun. No "real" work involved. She has beed a queen as far as this goes.
