That sucks. I got lucky. Most of my family have indian names, so when I decided to not give him an Indian name, there was a lot to choose from. What names do you have so far?

Congrats on the kid, by the way. My wife and I never got a book or anything. We went on a road trip to visit her folks and on the drive down we went down the alphabet and listed all the names we could think off. Then we eliminated the ones we didn't like or couldn't choose. We ended up with a list of about 5 names. And that's how we named our son. Give that a try.
