I stopped by the supermarket @ lunch and managed to get something for my wife, so at least I won't have to sleep on the sofa.

Everyday is like Valentine's for us

 

I just got back from the store, went on an extended lunch break to get some stuff was a mad house in there. Someone lost this guys arrangements and we was about to start a riot!

we say the same thing but end up always getting each other something even if it's little

 

That's too bad about FTD. I never did trust online flowers myself. Nothing beats getting Costco flowers on VDay for me.

 

I can never trust those website floral places especially on V-day.. but isnt it usually through the local florist anyway last year I went to the one down the street from my fiance's job and told them how much I wanted to spend and they hooked me up

I can trust them on any other day though.

The longer we are together, the harder V-Day gets. I know it is a 'stupid' holiday but whether the girl says she cares or not, she does to some degree. I went with a spa day at a nice spa on Los Olas (decent area by me), figured I would get her a car there and back, standard roses probably from Whole Foods because they have been awesome in the past, and honestly probably making dinner (out just doesn't seem good on v-day). We have a bottle of Dom from our wedding so that with some chocolate covered strawberries and that's it. We've only been married since December so I wanted to do something nice but I don't know what else to do, this is pretty standard for us.

What are you guys planning? Anything different/cool?

 

V-day is the day my company gives out annual bonuses, in a red envelope no less. No special plans except to fix dinner (roast a prime rib), a few high-octane drinks and then a small exchange of thoughtful gifts.

Don't know yet. Can't drink because wife is pregnant. Probably some gifts, a card and dinner.
