Just want to know if theres any guys who grow fond of their girlfriends and not get soft? Soft meaning no more cat and mouse you can be good to her and she can appreciate it. Just wondering because shit is great in the beginning when I don't care but as I get "soft" things get weird and she isn't as into it as before. I broke up with my girlfriend recently over it because it was annoying but we are currently trying to work it out but I am not sure if I want to work it out. So what's the fucking trick?

Wish I didn't either, don't know how to be a stereotypical guy. I swear it sucks because even when my girlfriend met me she said I didn't "act how I look." I guess it bit me in the ass in the end.

don't ever get whipped, if you do you lose all respect and they own you and they know it. guess I learned my lesson long ago.

I learned that shit from my girl when she said she needed a break, so i stopped talking to her and she comes crawling back to me. I learned my lesson, you always gotta act like a man and not some puppy dog wussbag that she has by a string. No problem being romantic, just dont be whipped and bust her balls every once in a while to keep it interesting
