i was seeing someone since last December. things were okay but we kinda drifted apart around june/july,,,, she was afraid i'd hurt her i think and put up walls,, but we stayed BEST friends and never really broke up taled every day and saw each other, and in August -September i said i'm really going to try to make this work. she could tell and was impressed, but "numb" as to how she felt- this has gone on for a while now but for the past month or so we have been pretty good, until this week

i work in IT and we use vnc which is a remote tool to take control or look at someone's workstation. i use this all the time and she knows it and i OFTEN "sneak in" and take control of her mouse to freak her out - yeah haha i know anyway, you guessed it...i get in and she's responding to an email to some dood about dinner or something and it's been going on for a while!!!! she didn't doesn't know but i don't really know what to do. i only saw a little bit of the mail and it could be from this clown that's always hitting on her who just built her a fence (i'm okay if it is b/c he's a serious clown and she's told me about him - no big deal), but if it's not him....
do i

just say fuck it and break up?
get into our exchange server and read her mail ?- i know, but i've already come this far
confront her?
let it ride and see?

i hate to break it to you... but i think think you should stop seeing her altogether... you work with her? strike number 1.

but, all together, you don't sound ecstatic, you sound like you've been having to try to impress, which isn't fun. she's numb? i think that's a sign in itself... maybe you're comfortable and it's difficult... but other than the email, i think there are plenty of other reasons to stop seeing her...

now add the email... i think it's important for us to have an understanding of your relationship... are casual dinners with the opposite sex normal?

 

The fact that she is numb is a big bad sign that she is over this relationship. I don't know if you both have friends of the opposite sex that you hang out with regularly, but if not, this is another sign for you to move on.

Don't go snooping around in her email any further...that's just not cool. Honestly it sounds like you are the only one putting any effort into the "relationship". Please listen when I say I've been that person before, and it SUCKS.

I say hit the road....find someone who has a mutual desire to make it work.

2. you're right i feel like an ass but it was an honest mistake. she was having a problem and called me so i took control of her machine and fixed it. well were still on the phone and i got another call so i took it. left the session open and kept on talking after five minutes i look back at the screen and viola: she's responding to said email.
