to forgive or not to forgive....
ok, so i see an old friend of mine tonight and we start talkin the old days...blah...blah...anyway we get on the subjest of this old "lover" i had..i say lover because we were never "boyfriend-girlfriend"...anyway a little backround on this girl...we screwed a few times...i was very much in love with her and still do love her (unfortunately...), she's very beautiful (both of her sisters were in playboy...), anyway we were great friends, on a side note (sort of) she always was a rich spoiled girl (im sure you know the type) and prone to severe mood swings..etc...so without going into specifics one day she said some shit to me that was so hateful/mean/cruel that we never spoke again (probably around four years now)...so back to my conversation with old homie: after this girl gets brought up (i asked if hed seen her or somethin) he tells me she has diabetes and is now in really bad shape...like she might not live a whole lot longer (i guess she has some fucked up type or somethin)...but i didnt get specifics...year, 2...more?
so this brings me to the point: at first when he told me this i though: bitch got what she deserved (recall: she said some really hurtful shit to me...probably worst things ive ever heard, and fucked almost everyone else over she knew)...so try to understand wheere i am coming from...
or i was thinkn...damn maybe i should go see her (she would like to see me according to my bro) and i still do love her.....damn decisions...this is a hard one...pride or forgive...
what would ya'll do?
sorry bout the long post...

Man, you really put a lot of thought into this one. You been mapping it out on index cards, creating everyones backstory? You might actually have a career in fiction...a shitty one, but one none the less.

Word im with Silvia like she said there is type I and type II. Type I isnt even all that bad, and then with type II you have to monitor your blood sugar and check your blood everyday. I have a couple of family members who have type II diabetes and it is under control. This girl must have some other sort of problems going on in addition with her diabetes to be so ill.

Type 1 (also called juvenile diabetes or insulin-dependent diabetes) is caused by a lack of insulin. This type is found in five percent to 10 percent of diabetics and usually occurs in children or adolescents. Type 1 diabetics have an abnormal glucose-tolerance test and little or no insulin in their blood. In Type 1 diabetics, the beta cells of the pancreatic islets are destroyed, possibly by the person's own immune system, genetic or environmental factors.
Type 2 (also called adult-onset diabetes or non-insulin-dependent diabetes) occurs when the body does not respond or can't use its own insulin (insulin resistance). Type 2 occurs in 90 percent to 95 percent of diabetics and usually occurs in adults over the age of 40, most often between the ages of 50 and 60. Type 2 diabetics have an abnormal glucose-tolerance test and higher than normal levels of insulin in their blood. In Type 2 diabetics, the insulin resistance is linked to obesity, but we do not know exactly how this occurs. Some studies suggest that the number of insulin receptors on liver, fat and muscle cells is reduced, while others suggest that the intracellular pathways activated by insulin in these cells are altered.
Gestational diabetes can occur in some pregnant women and is similar to Type 2 diabetes. Gestational diabetics have an abnormal glucose-tolerance test and slightly higher levels of insulin. During pregnancy, several hormones partially block the actions of insulin, thereby making the woman less sensitive to her own insulin. She develops a diabetes that can be managed by special diets and/or supplemental injections of insulin. It usually goes away after the baby is delivered.

Yeah man you don't have to forgive her or anything, you obviously want to see her, and i don't think anyone would think less of you for it. Friends and love are things that really matter, sickness and death have a way of weeding out what doesn't.

I guess somebody is very touchy about being called a noob. Awfully sorry I hurt your feelings. Try not to cry. Unreal! Well, I suppose it would be too much to ask that a person sends a private message with their complaint. Hit em in the back and run so they can't see who did it I say! Internet tactical genious!
