Follow-up after a date?

So there's this girl I went out with on our first date this afternoon. It wasn't all that great and there was pretty much zero chemistry for a romantic relationship, but she's cool and I wouldn't mind her as a friend.
I've got her email, and I was gonna email her something like "I had fun, let me know if you want to hang out again". But I don't want to lead her to believe I'm interested. At the same time I don't want to burn bridges...

Guys - do you follow up after a date even though you know it's not going anywhere. Girls - What would u expect?

Just say "thanks" and "see ya around again sometime."
What's so hard about it?

You know what, you're right. I was making too much out of it because she's really nice and I didn't want to seem like a prick telling her to fuck off.

You make it sound like you have 'too many' friends, 'too many' of which are female.

If I had your 'problem,' I might think the way you do.
But I don't, so I'm saying don't lead her on and don't push her off some cliff.

You just never know, the answer is "do the right thing " what that is nobody really knows for sure but the wrong thing usually is easy to spot.

That kind of philosophy says that you shouldn't call her back. If she calls you back ... then ... well, think about what to do and post to ask us at that time.
