As you know I was with my ex fiancee Sherri, for 1.5 year. I did love her. but now i look at it she was with me for the money. which is low. She didn't care when i was sick it was "When are we going to the movies or when are we going to the club?" (hardly ever asked if when I was sick how i'm feeling or anything).
Everyone said she was so bad but she made me believe she was so great.
so I dumped her about 6 month ago. Picked up my new girl like the next weekend. yeah i know mack daddy .
but I was sick to my stomach Saturday while I was over at my g/f's house. she drove me home (which 1.5 hour drive each way).she was practically my personal nurse. She'd come in every 2-3 hours and say "are you feeling better sweetie" or something like that. which made me realize she honestly cares about me. Which made me feel really good.
Then Sunday I went out with this jack@ss friend to a local sports bar for dinner.(he kind of invited himself). He's a HARDCORE Ford fan and HATES Honda/Acura. I drove Andy(my kind of friend),Amy(my g/f) and myself in my Accord. he's knocking Honda's almost the whole time. Amy's daily driver is a Ford Contour but she Autocrosses a CRX she's just going off on his @ss
She was about ready to kick his ass Sunday night because she knew I was getting pissed because Andy was making stupid comments about Honda/Acuras that pissed me off.

Plus Sherri never believed in my mechanical ability: she always thought I was an idiot and always would ask her brother his opinion (which usually was the same thing i said ) but it REALLY pissed me off after awhile because basically she didn't trust my knowledge.
Hell Amy said Derek if you wanna tear down my car I know you have enough knowledge to put it back together.(which was cool.)

Plus she's bright as hell. she's 2nd year at a hard school to be a grade school teacher. she's got a 3.0 cum (she had a 3.3 this last quarter).
I had a 3.0 this last quarter.
Sherri flunked out after her 1st quarter

Then Sherri was so controlling she about had jobs picked out for me once I finished college. Plus she wanted to ONLY live in certain town. so that limits my ability to find a job once I'm done in a about 1.5 year.

Amy said Hell Derek if you wanna go to Alaska I'm with you. She said "if you go there I'll go" and for once I felt it wasn't all about Sherri.

Then Sunday my best friend (Brad) is engaged to Sherri's best friend(Laura) I guess Brad,Laura and few other people went out drinking and shoot the crap about 2 weeks ago. I guess for 3-4 hours she wined how I ripped her off and it was my fault about the relationship. Brad said she told him the story why it was my fault like 50-60 times. Amy said "GOD THAT B!TCH NEEDS TO GET OVER IT. DEREK MY BOY" said it right in front of Laura (which is Sherri's best friend) Laura said "yeah I agree."
I'm thinking holy sh!t.

 

That's a good story to hear. I can't help but wonder if you and sherri are both gonna be at laura and brad's wedding (provided it goes through)?

 

Oh yeah plus her dad invited me to race in a indoor go-cart racing event Friday. I don't know If I'm going to. I gotta polish up Dad's bike. (Dad helped me with my Agriculture classes I pulled a B so it's the least i can do).
Sherri's Dad was an @ss if you ask me. He'd lay there on the couch never move. He'd might say "hey" or something like that. but as far as hang out with you never.

 

yeah we're both in the wedding party. but We won't be "partnered" up. It should go through. I'm not gonna worry about Sherri.I'm there more there for my bud Brad. I've known him since we were 4 or 5. so I'm letting water go over the dam about Sherri and doing this for Brad

 

Cool cool, hopefully she won't make a scene if your current girl is there too

 

no the test will be this summer because Sherri's brother is marrying my sister's best friend. (yeah it's a bunch of small towns around here) so of course Sherri is going to be in her brother's wedding . Since my sister is going to be in the wedding(because my sister best friend with the Bride) my famiyl coming along. so I'm bringing Amy. I told her she'll probably give me dirty looks the whole time but really I don't care.

 

hehe thats how its supposed to be man! I'm glad that you found someone who actually cares about YOU and not the $$$$. I love taking care of my bf when he needs me or is sick etc, thats what being in a relationship is all about, having each other's back.

I love reading Water's stories. They always start out with ~~> "well, you guys all remember sherri". i love that. Either way, im glad u finally found someone that loves you man, its a great feeling. congrats. As for the other shit, holy crap there must be a lotta small towns around there haha, "sherri's uncle marrying my best friends neighbors cousins sister" lol its all good though. Good luck at the wedding bro, hope sherri dont cause no shit.

Knows how to use indoor plumbing
Can see with both eyes, in the same direction
Can tell the difference between a Ford, Chevy, Dodge by taillights alone
Can fight her way out of a bar (with teeth intact)
