About her spending 20 mins chatting up a guy for no reason...maybe she was doing that stupid thing where a girl will use that as an excuse to see if you're still interested. You know, she goes off for a while, and if you're still there to talk to her, she thinks youre interested. Maybe? I dunno, I don't play those kinds of games, but it seems like a valid explanation.

Allright, what are some of the more better, or appropriate(sp?) things to discuss and ask if I am catchin lunch w/ a girl? I got the place figured out, just need to have the chit chat to make her still interested after the lunch.
And what if she doesn't offer to pay half of it? Depending on how it goes, I dont want to pay for all if it goes from good to bad. I think she should at least "offer" to pay half, even though most don't, what u think? C'mon ladies, more heads are better then one right?

but as far as the bill. if things go good and you like her, pick up the tab, if it goes bad, pay for your half, if she says something, be like this wasnt a date, i thought you understood that?
i always offer to pay half. but now im engaged, i let him pay as often as possible.. even tho its both ours money

Hey, I enjoy being blunt too, but I dont think that would be the best or easiest way to keep a girl interested in me. And I ALWAYS offer to pay my half, regardless of how well it went. It's only fair and I think it's rude to assume he's gonna pay. If he OFFERS to pay, then hell, who am I to argue, but I always at least offer (the very few dates I've been on, anyway, lol)
