Just wondering if you speak to her at least on the phone if you don't see her in person everyday. And do you have to call...or does she call you?

I try not to. Usually wind up talking to her once a day though. I dont like talking on the phone at all. I see her once or twice a week otherwise.

I was just wondering, because in my long term relationship, we either saw each other or talked at least once a day on the phone. However, it seems weird not to, but wanted to see if this was the norm for the future.

With other girls I've dated we probably talked on the phone every day. I've been with my current g/f for a few years now and its more of the "I dont feel like giving you updates on every single thing that I do" mentality. I think it also depends on the people (or other person in my case) since she also feels the same way about calling. That doesnt mean there are not days when we wont talk 2 or 3 times though. I dont know, I've never really thought about it too much until now. I'll probably have something else to say later now that I've started thinking about it more.

Yes - Since we live 40 min away from each other and we are both working professionals, we can't see each other everyday. Thus, we talk everyday.

Yes. We either keep in touch either by phone, email, or text messaging. But then again, we see each other almost every day as well.

It depends on the intensity of the relationship but just remember ... for gals, "EFFORT" is very important. It's not about yakking monotonously everyday to the point of it getting annoying but mostly the little things. You have to let her know you're thinking about her.

yup, so true. my girlfriend is more interested in actions than words. she gets excited even when we talk for just a couple of minutes in the middle of the day or when i leave a voice mail saying hi or something.

my girl moved 3 hrs away with her parent.. i only see her bout once a month.. but we try to talk at least once a day.. shes really busy (babysitting little bros, working at the family store, going to school, house work, homework...) so she calls as soon as she gets a chance.. i dont trip too much if i dont get to talk to her... i understand.

I don't have a gf, but there is a chick who wants the role as one. We see each other ever other day because I need to get laid. But she's cool, so i wouldn't mind talking to her, but there is really no need to hear from someone everyday. That means you have too much free time on your hands.

when my wife was a flight attendant, we would talk 2 or 3 times a day. We always had huge phone bills.

I see my girl almost everyday if we dont see eachother we talk a few times, we live about 4 miles from eachother and both work durring the day and when she isnt working she is at college durring the day.

If you live with her, you better speak every day if you're both home.

If you don't, then it's probably a bit compulsive to be calling every day. Communication should be natural, not something you force yourself to do. If you feel the need to have to talk to her every day, you have a problem.

My bf and I talk over the phone at least once a day, usually once during the day and then before we go to sleep. It doesn't matter who makes the call.

That's how we are. We always talk just before passing out. Who knows about the other calling during the day. Kinda random there.

Before I was married we spoke everyday. I think once you get to that point in a relationship that you're not concerned that you will come off as clingy if you call everyday or she does, then it's a lot easier.

Dom Dom Dom...I mean I am Amoeba..maybe that's why you get that feeling . Anyways, like I said I do not have a current girlfriend. This is what happened.

Ex-g/f broke up with me in April. I was pissed so I kept letting everything out trying to make myself feel better, so we werent talking, but we'd talk maybe once a week and get in an arguement. Then I stopped talking to here in May, I deleted her from facebook, from my phonebook, from anything that reminded me of her, and it was tough but the time thing was working.

I still thought of her everyday, but less and less. Come around the end of May she's calling me up and not leaving voicemails for a week straight. Then her dad got really sick and he was in the process of passing away and so I knew him well and wanted to be there for her and the family. She then told me how she appreciates me so much more because her current boyfriend is a douchebag. So being the Ameoba that I am we started hanging out, but then it just wasn't going to work, so I'm out...and we don't talk. But I was almost back to my normal life, and then she forced her way back in.

i usually talk to her everyday... she is usually the one to call me but i call her sometimes. i def dont see her everyday, that gets old real fast. i like to see her like 3 days a week
