Ok here's my question, has any ever dealt with an significant other with a broken bone while trying to do the vertical tango. The person I'm seeing has a shattered ankle.. any suggestions besides just giving oral till the leg gets better? I might be a couple months until his leg/foot gets better...

I considered that, however he's scared that its going to shift his cast too much, his ankle was shattered and he had a metal plate put into the side of his foot so he's being super careful.. there's gotta be some creative ideas out there how I can give his leg proper support...

Won't work because the girl is suposed to be on the swing, not the dude, plus he's stuck at his place, I'd have to haul the swing from my place to his, and its very heavy, I would need one really buff guy to carry them up the stairs, etc... more hassel than its really worth, plus they're a pain in the ass to assemble.

idk this is a tough call. when i broke my collar bone i was pretty much same boat. she would ride but then i would want to touch and a jolt of pain would sanp my arm back. was suppose to be a 6 week heal and it took probably 10 . if he won't let you ride him thats prob the only thing you can do.

Your "friend" must be a pussy. I had a broken leg with a cast halfway up my thigh. Just ride him. The ankle isn't going to move in the cast. It's also possible for the missionary position, but he'll have get used to the cast first.

I loved that cast, that thing was a pussy magnet.

 

I'm not so sure about that I had my ankle "explode" during a car accident and it was with out a doubt the MOST painful recovery I've ever experienced. ANY movement, any tensing of muscles was incrediably painful. It hurt just to get knob for the first few weeks, any tensing of leg muscles at all would nearly bring a tear to my eye.


to that, I had this bionic foot on my ankle all summer from the previously mentioned accident and all sorts of chicks were more then willing to help nurse me back to good health.

 

Well, that's true. The first couple of weeks are excrutiating. Just an agonizing pain and you can't sleep. But after a couple weeks with some codiene and alcohol in you, you're good to go.

that is totaly weak as shit......be a man and plaese the damn woman. I'm ashamed that this is an issue for him. If I could play football on a nearly broken ankel until doubles where over that day(yes it was stupid). Or play a year with my growth plate pulling away from my leg just below my knee he should be able to find a way to deliver.

That's possibly the worst advice I've ever read in my life, if it hurts to do something - don't fucking do it! I pushed my ankle much harder then I should have and now I have a slight limp and will for the rest of my life, I will probably need to walk with a cane by the time I'm 30, not cool at all. With out knowing the details surrounding this injury it seems just plain fucking stupid to tell someone to "man up", deal with it for a few months now so it doesn't impact the rest of your life.

hahaha thanks for all the responses everyone, tireguy you're dead on about his ankle injury, it just happened a couple weeks ago and so its still a relatively new injury, that's why he's trippin, next time I do see him I plan on working my magic on him! He too has a bionic ankle, they story behind his injury goes like this:

He was drunk with his buddies, and thought it would be impressive to scale a 5 foot parking garage wall, however, on the other side of the wall was a 20 ft drop, he landed right on the ankle. But hey everyone makes mistakes!

He thought it would be best to wait and see me after he goes in for his next cast change on the 19th, I guess I can be patient until then, poor guy won't even know what hit him by the time I get to see him again

Been there Done that.... I shattered my ankle AND fractured my femur at the same time in the Marine Corps..... My wife just put a pillow under my cast and made sure she didnt lean back too far!!!! tell him not to worry, he wont hurt it in the cast.. thats why the cast is there.... just dont cut it off with a bread knife like i did after it got annoying!!!

 

I am putting that one on my xmas list. Looks like the guy doesn't have to do anything, just relax and enjoy.
