Nothings 100%....I actually know someone who used a condom & she was on B.C. and she still got pregnate.

I'm not a fan of condoms, but I'd rather use them than deal with the concequences. My fiance is pretty good about taking her pill, but misses every once in a while. Plus, this usually eliminates fighting over who has to sleep in the wet spot.

 

And if that's possible, you know catching an STI is even more possible. Look at it this way, the condom only protects your piece, but you have your nuts, pubes and abdomen exposed to her wetness. There is no such thing as 100% protection against pregnancy and STIs by using a condom.

i could probably count the amount of times i've had sex without a condom on one hand. sure it was great, but not worth the risk, BC or not. not to mention, i need to protect against diseases.

 

Every time. Use one every single time. You have the right idea. An STD is far worse than a kid, especially if it's HPV, Hepatitis, or HIV.

 

Condoms aren't 100%, but it's certainly much better than none. I've tried to minimize risky activities in the first place. DO NOT USE EXPIRED CONDOMS. BUY NEW ONES! And be careful opening the package. Make sure it's used properly when you use it.

For vaginal intercourse:
1. Wear a condom (either a male or female condom but not both at once cause there is more chance of ripping). Never double bag condoms either. Also thicker condoms have less chance of ripping.
2. Be on birth control if you're a woman
3. Talk to your partner about safer sex.

For anal intercourse (if you do that):
1. Wear a condom if you're a male. If you're receiving anal sex, NEVER do it without a condom and lots of lube, even if the involved parties are disease free. INSIST he use a condom. Seems like most of you are concerned with getting a girl pregnant by not using a condom. Newsflash: this isn't the 70s. Birth control is not the only reason to wear one anymore. You guys aren't concerened with STDs??


The fear of getting an STD (especially one for which there is no cure) is greater than the fear of impregnating a woman, as far as I'm concerned.

 

For one nighters, yes, STDs is a concern. But in a monogamous relationship, pregancy is my only concern (we've both been tested).
