Totally agree, but he's young. If he WANTS a LTR now, he'd better get over it because it'll drive his partner crazy, and drive him crazy if his partner doesn't meet his physical expectations.

For the record, I'm not body obessesed. I just think the person should be fit. That's all. Anything else physically is a bonus.

I'm sorry, but a girl's calves isn't going to make or break whether or not I see myself with them. In fact, the last girl I was with was like 115 pounds and she still had an ugly set of legs, bordering on cankles. It's not going to kill me if a girl doesn't have beautiful legs. On the other hand, if they aren't shaven...

When women wear long dresses, sometimes the only skin you're gonna see is a naked ankle/calf

feet are nasty. I generally prefer the whole package together, not one part or another part, but sometimes when it's all you can see it's good to look.

Calves are part of the leg that attach to the place I most enjoy. the journey from ankle to thigh and upwards is one of real joy!

I like toned calves; there needs to be definition, and there needs to be bulk. A guy's calves can't be smaller than mine.
That said, I have really small ankles and big, muscular calves, without much effort at all (no sports, ever). I have always disliked my calves because I'm a woman and thus required to hate myself, but I have to admit that they look great when I wear heels, and my legs are strong and shapely for the most part.
It's interesting how cankles are not necessarily a fat girl's trait. Lots of very thin girls have no ankle-to-calf definition, and lots of very fat girls have nice ankles.
It's odd. Cankles can make a skinny girl look fat though.
However, it's a little-known fact that a thin girl with cankles will probably be fat when she gets older; thick ankles indicate either big bonedness, or a propensity to deposit fat in odd places. It's almost like they start filling up from the bottom at a young age. I say "fact" like it's a medical condition; it's not, but it's a good rule of thumb.

Well I've always had muscular legs since I was young and still do so when a chick has a nice muscular set of calves (and legs) it's a great and very rare thing from what I've noticed.
