The guys who checked yes should go spend time on a Labor & delivery floor of a hospital, and find out how many of the fathers there used condoms. After that they should take a trip to an HIV clinic, and see the consequences of HIV first hand. All the infections they get, sores, etc. How it just decimates your body. None of that is worth it. Only takes an encounter with one terminal AIDs patient to see why.

The comparisons to GC, Chlamydia, etc are fine and dandy, but thats like comparing the common cold to Ebola. Last I checked GC & Chlamydia were treatable, and while Herpes sucks, it sure isnt fatal. These are really apples & oranges comparisons. I do agree though that nowadays, younger gens barely consider oral sex a sexual act, and STD's prob are on the rise due to that, but comparing them to HIV is ridiculous.

Oral sex will lead to an STI before condom sex does for sure. You may be unlikely to catch AIDS from oral, but herpes, gonorrhea, syphilis, and chlamydia are all risks for you oral fans.

 

so would you guys have sex with a girl knowing she had an std? not hiv but herpes, for example? would you be able to date a girl who would openly tell you that she had an std?

 

All these sicknesses and fatal diseases make me think sometimes that humans aren't meant to have any kind of sex without dire consequences.

My ex-girlfriend's male friend did exactly that. He knew a teenage girl had HIV, but he had sex with her anyway. So far he's ok and yes, he wore a condom. I also read on the internet a couple of years ago that STIs can be transmitted through oral sex and that's why I'm anti-oral.

This is certainly not the case for all STDs, bacteria and more robust viruses are able to withstand acidic conditions, but the extremely low infectivity of HIV as a pathogen is excacerbated by less than ideal conditions, and as a result oral sex is very safe when it comes to HIV. To say that oral sex is extremely risky and should be banned worldwide is absolutely not the case with HIV.

What's wrong with oral from a long time clean partner? As far as I'm concerned in some ways oral is better that the reg sex. Whom ever has been giving you oral much ot have had any skills. Oral is like pizza even if it's bad it's still pretty damn good.
