Interesting - I am just a pussy who prefers cookies and milk over hot sauce.

I could hardly take a raw jalapeno pepper. I'd probably die if I tried a habenero

You're right.

We like hot sauce because the mild pain inflicted on our taste buds triggers the release of endorphins, which of course feel good.

Speaking of hot sauces, as we speak I am eating raw pieces of steak soaked in Cholula.

I went the super hot route for a while - all the "super hot" sauces. They were good but I got tired of all the heat and not much flavor. The stuff where a drop or two in a pot of chili will clear the room.

That's why I still think Blair's Original death sauce is simply untouchable - decent heat for a habanero sauce but tons of flavor. Its tough to "over heat" with it. Let's keep this thread going, I want to hear back from folks who have tried it. You'll thank me.

Raw they are nice and sweet. And then about 20 seconds later you're begging for it to stop

for the next 30 minutes!!!!!!

I love hot food and to tell you the truth I've had some severely HOT jalapenos. But man those little orange pumpkins take hot to another level.

This is sriracha. Many people already mentioned it in this thread I think.

This is at every viet restuarant It's the cornerstone of any pho shop! Makes the soup so much tastier!

Tabasco is nasty! I don’t know how you guys eat that. Every time I've tried it I've only tasted vinegar. I prefer the hot sauce my Grandma makes. Its old school Mexican hot sauce, hand made from fresh ingredients! Can't beat that. Tapatio is also good. I'm surprised that didn't make the list.

Oh and for the guys that like tapatio, have you ever tried it on popcorn? That shit is delicious.

I'll back in town this weekend. Where to go for Sunday breakfast?
Maybe Big Boy ... all the places I used to like in Rochester Hills have gone to trash at breakfast.

I'm glad tabasco did that - all of their other lines are really quite tasty. The garlic does rock.

What do you use it for? I use it for some of my Chinese cookings and ramen noodles.
