spinach fettucine

other than a simple alfredo, what is a good sauce to use with this pasta? I dont think regular tomato sauce will go great or be exciting.. any of you guys got any suggestions? doesnt have to be complicated. thanks in advance

Olive oil & roasted garlic

Broccolli Rabe

Fresh sauted spinach, red peppers & zucchini

Grilled chicken, roasted/slivered almonds & chopped garlic

Alfredo with:
- chopped sun dried tomatoes
- small amount of red sauce & Vodka
- grilled chicken & chopped canadian bacon

Or, just butter & parmesan/asiago...nothin else.

Yeah...I'm not a big fan of pine nuts either...

I use pecans or slivered almonds instead if I can.

Actually...on Soopas line of thinking...there is a new store-bought brand of pesto sauce(if you don't like to make your own).
It's made by Classico...

http://www.classico.com/whatsnew_bas..._creations.asp

Like I said...not bad if you don't normally make this type stuff, etc.

It's not bad...but if you're used to fresh...maybe you should skip it.

Fresh is always better.

I buy it now & again cause my bitch likes it...it's quick for her to cook when I'm not home.

I usually add it to heavy cream & Asiago... it works for my late swing nights.

My girl ain't the best cook...etc. Gotta keep it simple...

They have another flavor...sun dried tomatoe...I made a dip outta that...mixed it with cream cheese & a bit of sour cream. Now that turned out great.

Saw this in the "related threads" under the e coli thread...

Can we move this to the cooking forum? This thread has some great info. I intend to use the advice this weekend!
