"Pre-cooking" steaks

Yeah, and not quite the same thing as pre-cooking. They're actually cooking the steak in the oven and just "garnishing" the steak on the grill.

slow cook method will acheive maximum tenderness and give you a lot more medium rare than grilling it on the grill for ten min.

side note- only thing a steak needs is salt and pepper with a really good sear. then baste with garlic thyme and butter. no rub. no suace.

Kind of tried this last night.

Put the steaks in the oven for about 35 min at 225 degrees, then put them on the skillet on the stove (no balcony to grill )

They turned out very well, tender, very tasty! Can't wait to try this with a grill
